Here are some requirements for vending with us:
What are we looking for? As a purchasing department in an ever-changing market, we choose not to suggest to the vendors what to grow. By the time you get the genetics, flower, cut, and cure, you may be looking at a very different market. We are always looking for pure sativas, high grade indoor medicine, exotics (Thai, Cambodian, African, etc.), purples that are actually and thoroughly purple, high grade Kush, Sour Diesel, Chem Dawg, Strawberry Cough, Haze and the like. Trim as tightly as possible, our patients like naked flowers. Pull out smaller buds and grade the pounds. Flowers smaller than a dime or a nickel should be pulled out, along with any not fully developed flowers. You will get more money per pound if these two rules are followed. We do purchase the smaller flowers separately for half of the price of the larger flowers.

What is Clean Green Certification? Clean Green and Best Practices Certification is a garden inspection program. As an advisor, with over 40 years experience in agriculture, and a USDA "Organic" Certifier Chris Van Hook, founded the Clean Green Certification Program. Clean Green is an alternative to the USDA's exclusion of medical cannabis growers from participating in the USDA "Organic" Certification Program. As a licensed California attorney, Chris follows procedures to ensure confidentiality of information provided to the purpose of Certification, even from law enforcement. Medical cannabis patients now have the benefit of an independent, third party certification that the cannabis was grown, processed, handled, stored, transported, packaged, labeled, and distributed using standards and procedures that comply with national and international guidelines for organic and sustainable farming. Like the USDA "Organic" Certification Program, Clean Green Certification includes both the growers and the collectives/cooperatives/dispensaries that distribute products labeled "Clean Green Certified." Certification includes both the grower and the distributor. Please contact Chris Van Hook at (707) 464-6913 or by email at cleangreen@earthlink.net for more information.
What is Best Practices Certification? Best Practices Certification is run with the same protocols of the Clean Green Program. The only difference between the two programs is the following: the Best Practices Certification Program does allow the limited use of synthetic fertilizers and inputs in a limited and responsible manner. Please contact Chris Van Hook at (707) 464-6913 or by email at cleangreen@earthlink.net for more information.

To further our efforts to ensure your safety, we ask that you follow these basic safety procedures:
By following these simple steps, together we can dramatically reduce or prevent most incidents involving the theft of cash or medicine from our valued Vendors and friends. All suspicious activities should be reported directly to the Harborside Safety Manager. Be safe,
